ZIONSVILLE, Ind., (08.23.2023) – Graham Rahal dug his shovel in the dirt today alongside several individuals who played a large role in bringing the headquarters of his companies to Creekside Corporate Park in Zionsville, Indiana. The groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of the next phase for all the GR Brands which have each shown incredible growth over the last few years. The new facility will offer a state-of-the-art workplace for Rahal’s current employees while allowing the companies to continue to grow comfortably and add more staff.

Rahal was joined today by Brian Burdick (Indianapolis Managing Partner of Barnes & Thornburg LLP), Jason Plunkett (Zionsville Town Council, District 2), and Dale Dillon (Founder of Dillon Construction Group) to officially break ground on the land that will showcase two buildings.

The first building will feature the showroom and service for Graham Rahal Performance and Rahal Ducati Indianapolis, and Rahal Paint Protection and Rahal Precision Tint will operate within the facility. Offices for staff across all GR Brands companies will also be housed within Building 1 along with a stunning new Rivet Coffee shop operated by Allie Commons and her staff.

Rahal Piaggio Indianapolis will operate out of Building 2 as well as a car storage facility. Rahal is in talks with a restauranter to open a restaurant on the west side of the building and a members-only social club will be housed upstairs.

Dillon Construction Group is spearheading the construction of the two buildings based off the design from Studio M Architecture and Planning. Building 1 will be approximately 105,000 square feet with Building 2 near 33,000. GR Brands currently employs 74 and will look to increase that number to nearly 100 once the new building is complete.

“I speak for not only myself, but my family and companies, when I say this is an incredible accomplishment,” said Rahal. “It has been a long road to get to this point, and a relief to see the hard work of so many pay off. While this just marks the beginning of the next chapter in our book, we are excited to begin writing the next several chapters to not only bring future success to our brands but also help support the local economy of Zionsville, a town which I’ve grown to love. To have my future home (in Holliday Farms), our race shop, and now our own building within five minutes of each other is not only convenient but also shows our family’s dedication to the town.

“I need to thank everyone who has been on this journey with us to this point, Brian and Don, Jason, Kent, Town Council, RDC, Dale and Audie, Dan and Chelsey, Chuck, United Rentals, and of course my family: Courtney and the girls, my dad and all of my siblings who have made this project come to fruition. Hopefully, in 18 short months, we’ll all be back here again for a grand opening!”

The project is forecasted to take 14 to 16 months to complete and funding has been provided by Old National Bank. All rental equipment needed for the project will be leased through United Rentals, a partner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan and Graham Rahal partner.
