November is here, and our next Car of the Month is a very special one!  This car would be a dream addition to any collection, and exemplifies the timeless nature and innovative spirit of its iconic manufacturer.  November's Car of the Month is none other than the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa!  A car that is nostalgic, dynamic, and full of both history and character.  

Ferrari has long been a leader in the automotive industry, and during the eighties the Testarossa was a prime example of their expertise, craftsmanship, and what set them apart from the competition.  This edition is very rare and special for a number of reasons, among them is that its exterior is finished in the stunning Rosso Metallizzato paint.  The Rosso Metallizzato exterior nicely complements the Nero Connolly leather interior, making for a captivating design.  The Testarossa's striking appearance is not where the allure ends.  Not only did Ferrari implement a design that was both forward-thinking and timeless, their attention to detail and effort in developing each aspect of the Testarossa was equally a priority.  A very unique aspect of this Testarossa is its "flying mirror" that is seen on the exterior.  This specific set-up has an interesting backstory that adds to the rarity of the early models.  The mirror was designed with the understanding that per the European regulations, total rear visibility was a requirement.  Ferrari's designers were incorrect in their understanding, and received complaints from a number of their customers who had purchased the vehicle.  Upon learning of their mistake, Ferrari changed the design on future models to a typical mirror set-up, similar to what you see on the roads today.  In addition to the "flying mirror" feature, the Ferrari Testarossa is recognizable due to its wide body, air intakes, and its overall design that takes one directly back to the eighties!  It would be an extremely special find for automotive aficionados everywhere, through its embodiment of Ferrari's performance, history, and automotive excellence.
