Radical Indianapolis are 2024 Team Champions!
Congratulations to team Radical Indianapolis on being team champions for the 2024 Radical Cup North America championship! This past weekend the team took on the final round of the 2024 series championship at Sonoma Raceway located in Sonoma County, California. The team saw great success throughout the weekend with Nick d'Orlando taking pole position for Race 1 in Pro 1500, followed by Jordan Missig in P3, with Suellio Almeida securing P4 in Pro 1340 ahead of Kenny Naill in P8. Race 1 saw a double podium for the team with Jordan Missig taking the victory and Nick d'Orlando finishing in 2nd place. Jordan experienced an engine failure fire that severely damaged his car ahead of this race, and drove an exemplary race to fight back for the win, which he followed up with a podium in Race 2. The success for the team continued from there!
It was all to play for in Race 3 at Sonoma Raceway, and the team rose to the occasion. After a weekend filled with highs and lows, Jordan Missig crossed the finish line 1st for Pro 1500 securing the 2024 championship ahead of Nick d'Orlando who showcased his great racecraft throughout the weekend and the entire season. In Pro 1340, Suellio Almeida finished on the podium for Race 3, capping off another successful race weekend and solidifying his victory in the class championship. Kenny Naill crossed the finish line in P8, rounding out the 2024 Radical Cup North America season. We are extremely proud of the team's four drivers, and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the future.
This was Radical Indianapolis' maiden season in Radical Cup North America, so to secure the championships in both classes entered is a massive accomplishment and a true testament to the hard work and determination of each member of the organization. Congratulations to the drivers Jordan, Nick, Suellio, and Kenny, Team Manager Jeff Frederick, and the entire Radical Indianapolis team! They are only just getting started!
